Sometimes people get trapped inside their own issues and they withdraw as a result. Try not to take it personally. (I know that's really hard.) Also, in my case, one friend came back after over a year. I just accepted her return graciously (I had left the door open for her so that she could come back without shame) and now we are closer than ever.
