It’s been a year to the day since we first started talking, and I’m sad to say that we aren’t now. I really wish I knew what happened, and I refuse to spend any more time guessing why one of the most of my very best friends decided to stop. Also, I’ve no interest in resorting to nonsensical dramatics. Still, I miss you horribly.

I’ve been friend dumped once or twice and yeah, it really sucks, but what I learned (both times) is that it usually has more to do with the friend than it does with you. Sometimes people get trapped inside their own issues and they withdraw as a result. Try not to take it personally. (I know that’s really hard.)
Also, in my case, one friend came back after over a year. I just accepted her return graciously (I had left the door open for her so that she could come back without shame) and now we are closer than ever.
